چکیده
ثبت یک اثر در فهرست میراث جهانی سبب جلب توجه بیشتری از سوی متخصصان و هم از سوی مردم بدان خواهد شد؛ سازمان یونسکو و سایر سازمان های جهانی مرتبط با بناها و یادگارهای تاریخی و فرهنگی نیز کمک های فنی و علمی خود را در صورت نیاز در اختیار کشور صاحب اثر می گذارند. هم چنین صندوقی جهت حمایت های مالی از آثار تاریخی ثبت شده جهانی نیز وجود دارد. علاوه بر این در سالیان اخیر ثبت میراث معنوی و غیر مادی ملتها نیز مورد توجه قرار گرفته است؛ زیرا میراث فرهنگی یک کشور تنها به آثار مادی به یادگار مانده از گذشتگان آن محدود نمی شود. فرهنگ معنوی و غیر مادی و جنبه های ذهنی و غیرملموس جوامع نیز از اهمیت همسان با آثار مادی برخوردارند.Global Concepts and Values of Iran's Cultural Heritage

UNESCO and other international organizations related to historical and cultural monuments also provide their technical and scientific assistance to the owner country if needed. There is also a fund for financial support of world-registered historical works. In addition, in recent years, the registration of the spiritual and non-material heritage of nations has also received attention because the cultural heritage of a country is not limited to the material works left behind by its ancestors. Spiritual and immaterial culture and mental and intangible aspects of societies are equally important with material works.
