چکیده
ریزکشور نروژ، در دیپلماسی صلح نامبردار شده و بر خلاف نظریه های سنتِی روابط بین الملل (توجه به سخت افزارِ قدرت و اهمیت یافتنِ کشورها/قدرت های بزرگ) توانسته است با تمرکز بر قدرت نرم نهفته در مزیت های نسبی، برندی فراملی و تصویری ارزشمند از یک میانجی قابل احترام در منازعات داخلی و بین المللی خلق کند. شهرت جهانی و برندِ فراملیِ نروژ، چهره ای از یک کشور کوچک آفریده که نظریه های جاافتاده ی روابط بین الملل را به چالش کشانده است. پرسش نوشتار، شهرت نروژ در دیپلماسی صلح است. زین سبب، نگارندگان با بهره گیری از چارچوب نظریِ برندسازی ملی، کوشش کردند تا نشان دهند که چگونه نروژ (با وجود موقعیتِ حاشیه ای و منابعِ کم) توانسته است در درگیری های بین المللی، از کشور خود، چهره ای پذیرفتنی و هوادارِ صلح (صُلح سازی/صُلح بانی) نشان دهد؛ کاری که بسیاری از کشورهای بزرگ با منابعِ فراوان، نتوانسته اند. به نظر می رسد برند فراملی نروژ در دیپلماسی صلح دستامدِ تمرکز بر مزیت های فرهنگیِ نهفته در ساختارِ دولت ملتِ نروژ بوده است. یافته های نوشتار نشان می دهد که نهادسازی، حمایت های قانونی/مالی از صلح سازی/صلح بانی، میانجیگری در منازعات داخلی و بین المللی متعدد و ادبیات غنی صلح نروژی، تاییدکننده ی انگاره ی پژوهش است.Norwegian diplomacy of "Battle in Peace Field"
